SEVENTEEN is a multinational boy-band debuted in 2015 under Pledis Entertainment. The group consists of 13 members and they are further divided into three sub units namely, hip-hop unit, vocal unit, and performance unit.
The concept of the SEVENTEEN is “self-producing idol”, as the members themselves are deeply involved in the composition and production of their own discography and choreography. SEVENTEEN’s debut track, “Adore U,” was written and produced by member WOOZI, while HOSHI staged the dance choreography.
Within 2 years of debut, SEVENTEEN has released one studio album and three extended plays. Their first EP, “17 Carat” has successfully made its way as the only rookie album listed on Billboard’s 10 Best K-pop Albums of 2015. The band has also received the Rookie of the Year for 2016 Golden Disc Awards and World Rookie Award for Gaon Chart Music Awards 2016.
SEVENTEEN has further proved their immense popularity after having performed in two sold-out concerts in Seoul in 2016 that attracted more than 13,000 fans.
SEVENTEEN has successfully kicked off their 1st World Tour “DIAMOND EDGE” in Seoul on 14, 15 and 16 July with more than 30,000 fans attending the 3 day sold-out concert in Jamsil Auxiliary Stadium. 2017 SEVENTEEN 1ST WORLD TOUR “DIAMOND EDGE” Concert uses two contrasting concepts of Fire and Water to fit the hot summer weather and its special presentations.
In 2016, the group has performed in Singapore for SEVENTEEN 1st Asia Tour 2016 ‘Shining Diamonds’ in Singapore. They are set to bring the spectacular show to our local fans as they announced Singapore as one of their stops for their 1st World Tour. It promises to be an exciting and fulfilling concert for all SEVENTEEN fans.
